Grace Lai 'Carried Away' Exhibition at Auckland Museum

I love a good portrait session with a twist, and these photos were definitely that. With the light show and the amazing exhibit as a backdrop, this series of images are unique.

The very clever and talented Grace curated this wonderful exhibition for Auckland Museum in a year. One year. It’s amazing and unreal that she managed it. I captured images of her earlier in the year for her portrait in the book that goes along side the exhibition, which you can check out HERE.

The exhibition is finally here though, and she asked if I would come and capture some images of her in the space she spent a very hard and long year creating.

Between the lighting and the funky bags, it was such a creative and fun shoot.
